I am a native
of South Texas. I was born and raised in Corpus Christi, TX. When
I am in the South Texas brush; working on my cattle ranch and hunting
dove, quail, and deer or if I'm wade fishing the crystal clear waters
of the Laguna Madre in search for Redfish and Speckle Trout, I feel
these places is what I consider to be "In My Element". South
Texas has a lot to offer with it's people, history, music, food and
rich culture. Everyone at some point in their lives should experience
its flare.
I have a very strong South Texas cultural background and I am bilingual
and speak Spanish and English fluently. Over the years I have hunted
in many of the south Texas counties and also into Old Mexico. I know
the work it takes to have a successful hunting lease. I have rattled-up
Trophy White Tail and also tired-out Big Trophy Trout and Redfish
with light tackle and bagged many limits of Dove and Quail with my
Hungarian Vizsla Bird Dogs; the 'Best of Both Worlds'. Through years
of practice I have become a damn good cook (Campo-style foods) and
have invented a few of my own "Ranch Recipes".
I went to grade school in Corpus Christi and then attended A&I
University Kingsville and also the University of Houston, Central
Campus. Over the years I have worked in Houston, San Antonio and Corpus
Christi. In the Mid-90's I started my own business and purchased my
ranch. Both were started from scratch.
The Lord has blessed me and I LIVED MY DREAM of owning and operating
my own ranch and business. I am a small Beef
Cattle producer and self-maintain my own ranch. Through years of
hard work and sweat I have made my ranch and business successful.
In 2009 I sold my business and have become a full-time
Rancher & Outdoorsman. This has allowed me to pursue my passion
of ranching, hunting and fishing.
My business successes have enabled me to hunt &
fish in Texas, Mexico, Canada, Wyoming, Oregon, Florida and the
U.S. Virgin Islands. I have experienced some great lifelong memories
and have had some great hunting & fishing adventures that I
enjoy sharing with other avid outdoorsman. I look forward to adding
more adventures in the years ahead.
May God Bless you and your family and I hope to
meet you and your friends on a hunting or fishing trip with me and
my two Hungarian Vizsla dogs at the Cielito Lindo Ranch. |
